So Far So Good. I installed this light a week ago on my Carport with full southern sun exposure. It had enough charge to work immediately. The solar cord is long, it needs to be installed above 7.5 feet and the directions were clear(follow them). I mounted it horizontally(like under an eve), my only concern was the solar cord connection(plug) and would it be waterproof. Through two days of heavy rain it's working fine. My installation was unique, for normal wall or eve installation, it should be super easy. You may need to use different screws than comes in the box depending on what you attach to. Very Bright and great motion detection(up to 50 feet) when adjusted properly, and the charge lasts all night for me so it works on dark mornings. I like that the rechargeable batteries can be replaced. It is Not a Dusk Till Dawn Light. Time will tell if it deserves 5 stars.
Distance to sensor appears to match specs, and illumination is good. Installation was easy and it came with plenty of fasteners for install. I would buy again. It didn’t wow me (5star) but it met my expectations.
