Dusk to Dawn Food Light 35W 3500LM with 3 Adjustable Heads-Warm Light
Excellent light
First off, yes, its bright. Yay.I was looking for a light without a motion sensor and without a dusk to dawn sensor (when its on it's ON). This fits the bill, but I was disappointed to see that I did not receive the cap to cover the dusk to down sensor, so I put some tape over it (and will just put some white paint over it later). The missing piece is why I rated 4 stars and not 5.For installation, there was not enough room between the light and the house for the wire nuts etc because the back of the light is flat due to a plastic cover and not hollow like me previous light. You CAN remove the plastic back cover by unscrewing the 4 screws and removing it, leaving the back hollow to give room for the wires/wire nuts.And as you can see, yes it can be installed under a soffit / in a hung position.We will see how it holds up over time, but my day 1 impression of it is good.
I mounted it on a 10' high wall and it lights at least 30'x50' into the yard. The patio below it is very well lit. The diffuser and color temp are great for patio use. The ball mount makes it hard to get a good mounting angle and worked better with a shim under the box. The base is too big for a 4" round surface mount box and the gasket has some gaps with the smaller box so it doesn't seal as well as it could.
